Around the Town with Keri Garcia: Festival Fun | Video
Today I’m taking you to two of my favorite Fort Wayne festivals. One of the most famous —The Three Rivers Festival — is also the oldest, running since 1969. Let’s take a look!
Recently featured on The Cooking Channel’s ‘Carnival Eats,’ Junk Food Alley is Fort Wayne Famous — here you’ll find award-winning funnel cakes, chocolate covered goodies, and deep-fried everything.
While Three Rivers may be Fort Wayne’s oldest festival, Johnny Appleseed is one of the most beloved. This festival celebrates the apple-obsessed historical figure, whose unofficial gravesite is on festival grounds.
Here, families can enjoy: live music, apple confections, juicy turkey legs, and arts and crafts from local venders — all in a pioneer setting.
From Barbecue Ribfest, German and Greekfest, to Middle Waves Music Festival, and many others — the Fort Wayne festival fun never seems to end!
Thanks for tuning in!
